Melrose #04, 2013
Move (but, hold still)!
After more than two years of planning and much longer just thinking about it, the move has taken place. It is both a change in physical address as well as website domain and the rather smooth transition must be credited to the partnership my wife, Leslie, and I enjoy.
Our new home in Melrose, Florida meets 100% of our needs including some peace and quiet but also is a strategically located platform for both work and recreation. As a very important bonus for me, there are still a few people living in nearby Gainesville who I knew back in the 'art school' days at my alma mater, the University of Florida.
'Florida Frenzy' is borrowed from my creative writing teacher at UF, the late Harry Crews, and raises the bar of expectations and performance of all content appearing here. I think Harry would approve after minimal resistance over a triple vodka tonic.
Currently (April 2013), I am dotting the I's and crossing the T's in Ohio which, after 26 years here, is reduced to waiting for my youngest to graduate from high school and while that time is rapidly approaching I have already begun new work and planned other projects.
Florida Frenzy is my online gallery, business card, and sales venue. Unlike its predecessor, access to some images and catalogs will be restricted to customers or those who elect to purchase a paper contact sheet-catalog sent via Federal Express. I am not a 'non-profit' and have overhead to cover like any other business. Florida Frenzy will remain unsponsored and ad free.
I welcome comments - darts, daggers, or something in between - and will respond as time permits. If you think you might consider making purchases and do not have a Pay Pal account, please consider establishing one since that is the only payment method I will accept.
Your patience is appreciated as I upload content - some old, some new - while creating the new.
- Max
